Be Green and Cozy with a Natural Gas Heater

As depicted by its name, a renewable resource like natural gas acts a fuel for a natural gas heater. Its comes as a very affordable fuel due to its clean nature emitting negligible amount of toxic gases along with high combustion value which makes it a cost effective and efficient propellant overall.

We all adopt something or the other strategy to keep ourselves cozy in our own surroundings, whether it’s an office, garage, a workshop or our own sweet home. Depending on the requirements and strategies adopted we have a price to pay as well in terms of fuel, electricity, maintenance or sometimes manpower. However we must also make sure of some optimum way to achieve the same results and warmth around us and certainly a natural gas heater is the perfect choice for it.

Sometimes we must have seen tall structures with a thin but powerful flame coming from top and a perforated metal sheet on its top which distributes heat to the surroundings. Such a structure is commonly called as a patio heater which is run on variety on fuels including natural gas.

A natural gas heater in the form of a patio heater may prove to be a highly efficient heater because of high cost effectiveness of the natural gas as well as efficient heat supply. Moreover one does not have to think about electricity requirements for such heaters and their easy installation makes them highly flexible.

Forced-air natural gas heater makes use of a blue flame for heating purposes and is less expensive than other models. Also they result in blowing of saw dust which can sometimes be health hazardous and the only flip side to them. Infra red heaters form the second category and heat is transferred to air through heated objects and floor as a result of heating effects from heater.

Patio heaters working on pressurized gases like propane are equally efficient; the only difference is the synthetic fuel used called propane. Such a heater commonly referred as a propane patio heater; also has a propane cylinder attached to their body which makes them self contained and no requirement of any external plugging.

A propane patio heater has a compact size due to the presence of a propane cylinder attached to its body and wheels attached to these heaters make them portable and easy to handle. Also a propane patio heater has a property of heating only specific regions which are non-insulated rather than the whole area where it is placed and thus highly specific and efficient in their resource utilization.

Though both the patio heaters are equally efficient in their working but a propane based patio heater still comes at a higher price as compared to a natural gas based heater. Due to the renewable and natural abundance of natural gas, natural gas heater must be encouraged in usage.
